One Saturday when I was nine years old, I watched the movie Trapeze three times in one day on the Million Dollar Movie, WPIX New York.  Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, Gina Lolabrigida.  High flying trapeze artists!  Could he actually do the triple?  It had never been done before!  I was hooked.  I wanted to join the circus.  No, I wanted to become an actor.

I studied theatre and English literature at Northwestern University, embracing the likes of Dickens, Thoreau, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Shakespeare, Shaw, O’Neill, Williams, and Miller.  Unfortunately, I succumbed to the pressure of my 1950’s era parents and went on to law school and practiced for many years in and around New York City.

But my passion for acting has never waned, and I am now pursuing my lifelong dream with renewed vigor.  I have been in many plays throughout the years, but I now have my sights set on television and film.  I identify with Stanley Tucci, Tony Shaloub, Peter Freedman, Richard Jenkins, Reed Birney and John Carroll Lynch.

On the one hand, I can play authoritative, professional roles (doctor, lawyer, detective, professor) with a commanding presence.  I have a sharp, focused intellect that I can use in a calculating, investigative manner.

On the other hand, I have a great sense of humor and can be sarcastic, quick witted and playful.  I could play the disarming lawyer/detective or the loving father and family man.

I cherish my role as father to three children, all in their mid-twenties.  They are all thriving.  Yes!  I have a wonderful wife and two stepdaughters as well.  A ten-year-old chocolate lab mix and a two-year-old French bulldog complete the pack.  I am an avid skier and a tennis player.  Here’s a fun fact – I ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

I recently graduated from the Terry Knickerbocker Studio, in Brooklyn, and I am now focusing on network television, streaming platforms and feature films.
